HQ Lacquer Ltd. has been established as a family business since 1986 when Directors John Hennessey and Michael Quirke decided to combine their skills as a spray finisher and cabinet maker to set up a bespoke furniture workshop in Battersea, London, specialising in high gloss polyester lacquer finishes.

Unique Projects
We pride ourselves on our flexibility and innovation. Over the years, HQ Lacquer has had many unusual requests, working on projects including spraying 800 GI helmets for Steven Spielberg's Saving Private Ryan, a 1.4 meter diameter detailed model of the Earth, a naked female torso in gloss piano black, and a pair of stylish wooden shoes finished in bright red polyester!
Specialist Workshop
In 2008, HQ Lacquer relocated to larger premises in Chessington, just off the A3 and within easy reach of both London and the M25.
